RSA Security - The Security Division of EMC.RSA Authentication Agent Software

Protecting Corporate Resources with Strong Authentication

In today’s competitive environment the need to provide network, system and application security is essential. RSA® Authentication Agent software enables e-business by controlling access to corporate networks, web applications and operating systems. Used in conjunction with RSA SecurID® Authenticators and the RSA® Authentication Manager software, RSA Authentication Agent software protects sensitive data assets stored within the enterprise from unauthorized access.

Protect Multiple Resources with a Single RSA SecurID Authenticator:

RSA Authentication Agent software intercepts access requests—whether local or remote—from users or groups of users and directs them to the RSA Authentication Manager program for authentication. Once verified, permission to access protected resources is granted.

Seamlessly integrated with existing systems, applications and infrastructure, RSA Authentication Agent software is embedded into an array of remote access servers, VPN’s, firewalls, web servers and more. Today, you can easily enable the RSA Authentication Agent software built into some 300 RSA SecurID Ready™ products from over 200 leading manufacturers. Once invoked, the RSA Authentication Agent technology instantly protects that resource with RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication.

A wide range of RSA Authentication Agent options are available to protect Microsoft® Windows® systems, Unix servers and web applications.

Software tools are available for organizations to develop customized applications, and RSA Security Professional Services is available to help with special requests.

Platform Support Matrix:

In addition to the fully supported configurations listed below, RSA provides limited support for vendor service packs and maintenance releases, until full support is either officially declared or support is declined due to unexpected architectural issues, vendor bugs, or incompatibilities. Limited support means that RSA attempts to reproduce and resolve problems on a fully supported environment. If the problem can be reproduced on the supported environment, RSA works with the customer to resolve the problem and log a bug if appropriate. If the environment becomes suspect during the problem resolution process, the customer is required to move to a fully supported environment to further isolate the problem and to proceed with the problem resolution process.
