Offerings

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent for Microsoft Windows

By replacing vulnerable passwords with the industry's leading two-factor authentication, RSA, The Security Division of EMC, and Microsoft make it possible for customers to positively identify users before granting them access to valuable corporate resources accessed through Windows-based desktops and networks—while simultaneously delivering a simplified and consistent user login experience.

The RSA SecurID Authentication Agent for Microsoft Windows consists of the following core components:

  • Local Authentication Client – A component that enforces RSA SecurID authentication during logon to the Windows desktop.
  • Remote Authentication Server – A plug-in into Microsoft IAS RADIUS Server or RRAS. This server-side component enables RSA SecurID authentication using a native Microsoft RADIUS environment. The component is supported on the server-class systems.

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 7.1 for Web for Apache Web Server

The RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 7.1 for Web for Apache Web Server supports:

  • Cross-domain single sign-on (SSO)
  • Private Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) communication channel between user and web server
  • Wireless access protocol authentication
  • Control of user and group access privileges to protected web resources
  • Customizable activity trace/security log, exception, incident, and system usage reports
  • Tamper-evident cookies to prevent cookie alteration or forging

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 7.1 for Web for Internet Information Services

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 6.0 for PAM

Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) for UNIX and Linux allows the integration of various authentication technologies such as UNIX, Kerberos, RSA, smart cards, and DCE into system-entry services such as login, dtlogin, rlogin, telnet, ftp, and su, without changing any of these services.

By leveraging the strength of RSA SecurID and the flexibility of PAM, organizations can eliminate security risks associated with using static passwords for user authentication. While enhancing security, the RSA SecurID solution can help organizations to reduce help-desk costs from password-related calls and to increase user productivity.

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 7.1 for PAM

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIX

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIX protects UNIX environments when they are accessed via terminal services or the X Window System.

Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIX is the last in the family of Authentication Agents that is not built on the contemporary PAM architecture. Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIX is still supported but is no longer recommended.

User and Agent administration is centralized by RSA Authentication Manager.
